It has been detailed that, of the masks currently in use, even the FFP2 and FFP3 masks cannot completely filter the ultrafine virus-sized particles that fly through the air. The KC virus mask, on the other hand, is clinically proven to detect viruses and bacteria, unlike masks to filter dust and pollen – a virus filter tested for viruses and bacteria smaller than the coronavirus in clinical trials reached 99.9%. This value is thirty times better than the filtered particles in the normal test: it has been equipped with a filter.

Thanks to the filter, the KC virus mask allows safe work even in viral environments, whether in hospitals, at home for patient care or when traveling indoors, in crowds. The filters, which cost a few hundred florins, provide protection in a hospital environment for 24 hours and can be easily replaced. Also, this mask is 40% easier to get air than a disposable FFP3 mask, which is why the developers especially recommend it to doctors, dentists, public office workers, and couriers, for example. The skins are expected to be available starting in October.

One of the main considerations when designing the mask was that it should not be uncomfortable and its material should not irritate the skin. Hybrid is made of silicone or TPE, a skin-friendly material, so the skin does not suffer from prolonged wear, and thanks to the design that follows the line of the face, the mask ensures comfortable use. The mask does not have to be thrown away after use, it can be reused after a disinfectant wash, so it does not overload the environment. All parts of the product are made of recyclable material, in addition, the filter does not have to be destroyed, it can be returned to KC Mask. Due to its high resistance to heat, it is easy to disinfect.
