The court arrested a Nádasdladány man who first had a conflict with his blind mother and then stabbed a man to protect the woman, the Fejér County Attorney General’s Office told MTI on Friday. The court order is not final.
According to information from the Prosecutor’s Office, the Nádasdladány man got into trouble with his blind mother at her home on Monday, and during their argument.
He put a lit cigarette in her mouth, turning the end of the burner inward.
When the victim sought help from people in the home, the perpetrator stabbed the man to protect his mother with a sharp, pointed device multiple times on his face and body.
According to the prosecution, the stabbing was suitable to cause a life-threatening injury. It also justifies the detention in the opinion of the Prosecutor’s Office according to the nature of the crime and the risk of recidivism due to a series of acts of violence against the mother and her partners.
The Székesfehérvár District Court was reported to have ordered the suspect’s arrest, but the decision is not final due to the defense attorney’s appeal.
