The couple had just left for Lake Balaton when Eszter fell ill, complaining of abdominal cramps. He took a strong pain reliever, but didn’t want to go to the doctor. Péter Hajdú did not let go of him and took him to the hospital. He waited in the car and soon received a phone call: Esther sobbed because she had lost her baby and was in mortal danger.

It turned out that my fallopian tube was ruptured, I had internal bleeding, and when we got to the hospital, I already had a tenth and a half of blood in my abdomen. The doctor said I only have about two or three hours left

Eszter told Blikk.

Due to the circumstances, they did not even want to undergo the surgery at first, but with the 25-year-old’s life at stake, the procedure was eventually abandoned.

The Hajdús told the newspaper that in addition to the horror, they now have to process what happened. Fortunately, the doctor assured them that although they had to remove one of Esther’s fallopian tubes, they could still have children.
