Csurgó’s wife, who was treated with a disinfectant instead of saline, died at Szigetvár Hospital in May this year, the RTL Klub learned. The news director confirmed to the reporter that a patient around 42 years old had died of complications from the poisoning.

As we wrote, the patient came to Szigetvár Hospital for gynecological surgery, but during the procedure, the excavated section was not washed with saline, but with a strong disinfectant, because they could have previously exchanged the two bottles. Due to a serious breakdown, he was transferred to the intensive care unit of the Pécs clinic in critical condition, but was unable to return home from there. The hospital director confirmed that her death was due to complications from the poisoning, adding that she sincerely regrets what happened. The journalist also contacted the police, who said that criminal proceedings were still pending. The National Center for Public Health wrote in a television question that the hospital had committed an irregularity in the documentation for which it had been fined two million.
