The Kalocsa orphanage cares for young people aged 10 and 18 with special needs. 24.hu wrote that a priest who was accused of sexual abuse ten years ago also works there. The homeschoolers wrote to the portal in a response letter that suspicious cases had also occurred in them, for example, children left the parish in a “strange state”, drank alcohol, reported being caressed, caressed, hugged.

Although 24.hu approached the priest, he did not want to comment. The archdiocese said a sexual harassment investigation had already been conducted in 2010, but no details had been released about it. Then a boy, a former priesthood student, approached the archdiocese after he said the priest harassed him multiple times. They had dinner together several times and had to hug and kiss the boy the priest. On one occasion, as revealed in a June 444 article, he allegedly told her that he was very eager to be able to hold her and be there with him again. The then victim, Dániel Kőhegyi, also spoke about the fact that once they drank a lot, he took it.

I stand on two legs, they take off my underwear and he grabbed my genitals and I told him I had to go right away.

Dániel Kőhegyi told RTL Klub Híradó now. He added that the father had called him several times after that, but he said no and eventually turned to the archdiocese.

Nobody took the alarm, I said, and when I realized it, it was too late, as the archdiocese said, well, shut up, it is already replaced, the times do not come and everyone knew that this is not the case

Said the victim. Although an RTL Klub Híradó employee visited the archdiocese, it was reported that the case had already been investigated and no illegal activity had occurred. The question of whether a church ordinance was violated by the priest’s approach was not answered, nor was the outcome of the investigation communicated. The orphanage management was also visited, but questions were not answered at all.

In contrast, the Human Resources Department said no child complaints were received from the children’s home administrators.
