Next year, on the occasion of Szakonyi’s 90th birthday, a conversation book with Péter Horváth will be published in Kossuth Publishing House.
The Artist of the Nation Award is awarded to persons over the age of 65 and provides a lifetime annuity to its holder. The amount is 23 times the current minimum amount of the old-age pension, no taxes are paid thereafter.
