On Saturday morning, the famous Roma musician, Count László Kozák, was buried. The 49-year-old gypsy musician died of a coronavirus.

According to gypsy traditions, the Count was buried in a crypt in the Szolnok cemetery, in accordance with current epidemiological regulations, in addition to the fact that his family, friends, musicians and admirers shared the mourning. THE mourning family with his permission, the press was also able to attend the actual ceremony.

They kept vigil for days until the funeral to pay tribute to the memory of the musician who tragically left suddenly. At such times, the mourners, according to Roma traditions, recall common memories with the deceased, talk about him, consume his favorite drink in his honor and serve him his beloved food as if he were still alive.

In a four-horse carriage with music, the Count was accompanied on his last journey, and together with the musician, the beautiful objects, clothes and instruments of his heart were buried. According to Roma customs, money is also put in the pocket of the deceased to have the duty to pay customs until the afterlife.

They came to the funeral from all over the country to pay their respects to the Count. In addition to the family of the deceased, the entire Roma community was represented at the ceremony.
