In the UK, the first 800,000 vaccines, which are now available, are given to some people over the age of eight, as well as to healthcare professionals.
“I am honored to be the first person to be vaccinated with the vaccine,” said Margatet Keenan, adding that after being alone all year, she cannot wait to be with her family and friends again.

The second vaccine was given to William Shakespeare, who lives in Warwickshire.
