The second full shutdown in Austria begins on Tuesday. According to the rules, shopping centers can still remain open.
Given the record number of cases, another full shutdown was inevitable for Austria, Heute writes. The closures usually affect the same areas as in Hungary: restaurants can only carry take away food, cinemas, concert halls, theaters, cosmetics, beauty salons, hairdressers and fitness rooms also close.
Shopping centers can remain open despite being visited by large crowds, as there are many stores and institutions in shopping centers that can still remain open:
- public pharmacies
- veterinary institutions
- pet Shop
- garden stores
- bakeries
- Pharmacy
- grocery stores
- health and care institutions
- social centers
- gas stations
- banks
- Offices that sell tickets for public transport at train stations and tram stops.
- tobacconists and kiosks
- garbage collection plants
- bicycle carrier
- car rental
