Billionaires David Beasley, director general of the World Food Organization (WFP), is asking for donations because 30 million people are at risk of starvation if they do not receive help from a specialized UN agency, writes MTI, citing the CEO statement Thursday. Some 270 million people around the world are at risk of starvation, and WFP expects 138 million of them to help this year, said the director general on the Security Council.

We need $ 4.9 billion a year, but if that amount is not available, 30 million people will starve.

He declared. He pointed out that there are 2,000 billionaires in the world with a total fortune of eight billion dollars, and many of them have made billions even during the coronavirus pandemic.
