In the Czech capital, supporters clashed with the police, similar to what happened yesterday in Bratislava, the MTI reported. Ultras marched in the capitals of both countries to protest against the strict measures against the coronavirus epidemic, as all public sporting events were prohibited in the Czech Republic. In Slovakia, the control of epidemics is ongoing, which also extends to sports.

In our neighbor to the north, supporters of the most popular football team, Slovan Bratislava, demonstrated, while in the Czech Republic, football and hockey fans demonstrated. In both countries, the incidents ultimately culminated in clashes with police officers, in which law enforcement officers had to deploy tear gas, water cannons and other weapons of mass dispersal.

In Prague, local police said more than 2,000 people took part in the rally, but up to 500 people were allowed to attend. Police also confiscated sticks and firearms from the protesters and arrested more than a dozen people.

The number of infected people in the Czech Republic is growing so fast that it is necessary to build a camp hospital in Prague

Planned surgeries are postponed to free up as many beds as possible for coronavirus patients.
