As reported by the Index, according to a document obtained by Bloomberg, the European Commission proposed that the European Union adopt Chinese and Russian vaccines by issuing common EU protection certificates. The European Commission wants to present a draft EU protection certificate next week. Referring to a closed-door meeting of two EU commissioners, the portal now writes:
Those who receive a vaccine that has not been approved by the European Medicines Agency will not be able to have this certificate because they are not subject to the EU liability standards or the quality assurance procedure.
