British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was released from the hospital after being treated for a week for his coronavirus infection, the BBC writes. According to the newspaper, Johnson is not yet available for work.
Johnson was taken to St. Thomas Hospital last Sunday after ten days of illness with a cough and fever, his condition deteriorated, and he was admitted to the intensive care unit, from where he was transferred to a traditional ward on Thursday night.
The prime minister’s spokesman previously said Johnson is already taking shorter walks in the hospital and is definitely better. According to the official statement, he is still at the beginning of his recovery, but his doctors say his condition is clearly improving.
The Home Secretary said the next few weeks will be about recovery, until Johnson returns to work. Until then, Chancellor Dominic Raab will replace him in the British government.

Johnson previously said about the staff at St. Thomas Hospital.
In Britain, the balance could reach 10,000 deaths on Sunday, with only 914 new victims of the virus on Saturday and 980 on Friday.
