In Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the coronavirus, another infected person was registered after more than a month. A new patient was last identified on April 3, he writes, citing local CNN health officials.

The newly identified patient is in a critical condition, his wife has also tested positive previously, but asymptomatically. The patient, who is now in critical condition, lives in an area where a total of twenty infections have been reported so far, five of which were asymptomatic, including the wife.

China opened its borders on April 8 after a 76-day closure. As of Sunday, a total of 50,334 confirmed cases are known in the city, according to the local health authority.
