Camera footage was shown at trial showing that he was charged with murder for profit. B. László takes the defenseless to his car in the parking lot Novozansky Fannit, then, shortly after, he also takes the girl’s belongings. Bors shared the recordings projected on the court.

VV Fanni disappeared almost three years ago. According to the indictment, László B., 35, did not have a steady job or a regular income, but needed money to maintain his spending lifestyle, so he decided to try to get money out of Fanni in a short way. After a long attempt, on November 20, 2017, he even made an appointment with her for the girl’s apartment.

After that, he beat Fanni at her home until the bleeding girl was left defenseless. Later, László B. took various valuables or kept the woman’s documents, as well as things that could give the appearance that the girl had left. The man then parked in the apartment’s underground garage, then carried the still defenseless girl to the car, put her in the back seat, and drove to XIII. district, to the abandoned service road that opens from Cserhalom street, next to the Rákos stream.

Here, the man tied up the body of a girl who had so far died as a result of previous abuse and put it in the trunk of a car. László B. traveled by vehicle to Siófok, then the next day he drove the corpse through the Szalkszentmárton mining lakes to an old abandoned and disused ferry crossing on the left bank of the Danube, where he placed the body in the Danube. Interestingly, he also took a passenger with him via a carpool app when he drove the victim in the trunk of the car to Siófok. The man brought more valuables from the girl’s apartment a few days later. VV Fanni’s body has not been discovered to this day.

The Budapest Attorney General’s Office brought charges against László B. for murder for profit, on the condition that he be released on parole after at least 30 years. However, László B. did not reach an agreement. And in the current trial, a recording of the defenseless girl carried to his car was also screened.

László B. said about the case that he made a mistake by taking the fainted girl. He claimed that VV had arranged a meeting with Fanni’s girlfriend that day because he wanted to start a project in which Fanni would have also been a partner, and their mutual girlfriend wanted to introduce them to each other. According to him, Fanni was lying on a sofa when he entered the apartment. He claims a woman was “bubbly and overly sucked”, so he took her to “problem solvers” at the request of a mutual acquaintance. B. Erika, on the other hand, denied having been in Fanni’s apartment on the sinister day.
