Millions of people will be screened for coronaviruses in the coming days in Wuhan, the initial center of the epidemic, after six infected people were found again after a 35-day break over the weekend, CNN writes.

None of the new infections has been introduced, suggesting that the disease may still be spreading in Wuhan.

According to the Chinese state newspaper The Paper, it will subject the entire population to a nucleic acid-based coronavirus (PCR) test within 10 days.

The ambitious plan was called a ten-day fight in the article, and accordingly, the 11 million Wuhan residents will be screened for the virus.

The new Chinese corona virus first appeared in the world in Wuhan, the 76-day curfew was lifted on April 8, allowing locals to get out, but many stores were still closed.

Although no new cases were diagnosed Tuesday, they still fear the second wave of the epidemic due to the events of the weekend, they are trying to prevent it now.

The city of Shulan, in the northeast part of the country, was completely closed in the days after the infection of eleven people. In South Korea, the number of infected people has also started to rise, even though the epidemic was once controlled.
