One of the members of the patrol couple arriving from Kassai Street, Krasai district, was stabbed several times by the aggressive man with a knife. The 26-year-old sergeant was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition and underwent life-saving surgery, and a country has cared for him ever since.

The man had now reassured everyone a bit, since since he was awakened from anesthesia on Friday night, his condition had started to improve, and now he could say:

“Dear Cop Supporter and all members concerned about me, I am a policeman stabbed with a knife in Újpest. Thank you very much for all the support, because of my condition it is very stressful to read the good wishes, I still cannot answer all of them, but I will make up for it.

I’m fine with the circumstances, I’ve already taken a few steps with help, but there are still a lot of pipes that are blocking me. My father said how worried they are for me and for that I am very grateful, I am trying to draw strength from this.
