6,566 new infections have been found in Hungary in the last 24 hours, which is less than in previous weeks, but it is worth treating data received over the four-day Easter weekend with caution, as it is they run fewer tests on weekends, so detection is slower. Of course, we can be glad that the seven-day moving average is already moving down.

However, the number of deaths in a single day from a coronavirus disease is permanently above 200, close to 250 according to the seven-day moving average, and 211 deaths were reported last day.

The epidemic carried out 27,094 tests last day, of which just over 24 percent were positive.

The pressure on hospitals, the health system, remains enormous: 11,571 need hospital care and 1,440 have ventilators, the number of hospital patients has increased by 188 in the last 24 hours and the number of those using ventilators has increased by 3 .

On Saturday, a total of almost 91,000 vaccines were administered, 76,770 first and 14,115 second doses. This increased the number of people vaccinated at least once to 2,312,501, and around 905,117 had already received their second vaccine. This means that 23.67 percent of the population has received at least one vaccine so far and 9.26 percent have already received two vaccines.

More details coming soon.
