They were already at a disadvantage in the second minute, but Hertha finally beat Augsburg on Saturday. Dodi Lukebakio scored a three-point penalty in the 89th minute. This was Pál Dárdai’s first win for the Berliners since his return. The Hungarian coach said after the match:

“We achieved a well-deserved victory, it was a successful day for us. We worked hard for that, but it went well, we scored three very important points. We should never underestimate ourselves so that we can only achieve good results. We are on the right track, but we have to keep working “ – said Dárdai after the 157th Bundesliga match.
According to German Kicker, the Hungarian coach gave a motivational speech at halftime in Augsburg’s 1-0 lead, because he felt it would affect his team better than a few words out loud. “It can’t get worse than that anyway, it’s bad enough anyway” – Dárdai said as he walked into the dressing room to his band, then highlighted what they needed to improve: “I want more aggression and more risks” – The instructions finally paid off, as the Berliners were able to win the Bundesliga again after nine undefeated champions.
