Samsung has unveiled its next folding device, and on September 1, the company’s portfolio was expanded with a new model: the Galaxy Z Fold 2, a mobile with a giant double-fold screen. The size of the device that expands the Fold series has become even larger than its predecessor: this time the external display has a 6.2-inch diagonal, while when open, it already has a 7.6-inch diagonal. Another significant change is that the camera island has been removed from the upper right corner, with the 10-megapixel front camera in a small hole. The image refresh is already 120Hz, bringing the model up to today’s high-level expectations.

Regarding the design, it is also worth mentioning that the hinges were also rethought by the South Koreans, even in the semi-open state the use of the device was made more comfortable, which is useful for video calls, among other things.

Inside the device came a Snapdragon 865+ chip (its Exynos equivalent in Europe), accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256 / 512GB of storage (available only in the previous version in Hungary), for which it received 4,500 milliamps of batteries. The rear camera system consists of three units: the main unit is a 12-megapixel sensor with optical stabilizer, which is accompanied by a 12-megapixel 123-degree wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel 45-degree telephoto camera.

Of course, this is not a cheap product again, they will ask for 750 thousand florins at home. Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze will be available starting September 18, 2020 and pre-orders are now being accepted.
