Hungarians buy more online than before the virus
One of the positive benefits of the epidemic is the acceleration of digitization. According to research, 33% of those surveyed have been shopping more online since the outbreak began. Consumer awareness is indicated by the fact that 58% of them collect more information online before making purchases, so they have to spend less time in stores. The majority, 59%, also pay more attention to prices and try to buy everything cheaper.

Internet chat instead of face-to-face meetings
Compared to the previous year, research shows that four in five people are less likely to meet people who do not live in households, which is offset by mobile and digital communications. Since the epidemic, a third of respondents have made more phone calls, but above all, the use of digital platforms, chat applications and online conferences has increased significantly; almost one in two respondents uses at least one of these apps or devices more frequently.
