The government has extended 484/2020. (XI. 10.), according to the recent government decree, the measures must be applied until March 16. This regulation regulates, among other things, the prohibition of curfews, the prohibition of meetings, the closing of restaurants and hotels, the prohibition of events and the closing of shops at 7:00 p.m.

The former had previously been extended until May 23 by the government, but has now ordered its provisions to be applied until March 16.

That is, all the above rules will remain in effect until March 16.

Of course, this does not mean that the government cannot extend them later, but it is certain that the provisions applied so far with the March 1 deadline will remain in effect until the middle of the month.

The extension of the measures was previously announced orally by Gergely Gulyás, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office, but the decree on the matter was published today.

The government has also extended subsidies for digital education recipients until March, which means free internet access for an additional 30 days.

At the same time, the government extended the border control period until March 16.
