A man herding cattle injured two cyclists in Balatonfenyves in April this year with a cable stretched over the road, for which he was charged, the Somogy County Attorney General’s Office reported to MTI on Thursday.
The 24-year-old defendant stretched a meter of the rope with which the bullets were tied on a private road free of traffic, gave no sign of him, walked thirty meters away and began to herd the animal.
The cyclists on the road did not notice the obstacle, nor did they hear the cry of the man who was trying to warn them of the danger, both fell on the line and fell, and suffered injuries that would heal in eight days.
The Kaposvár District Prosecutor’s Office proposed that defendants with criminal records be tried for a crime committed against road safety.
