A passenger train left its two carriages on the Lajosmizse line on Wednesday, RTL Klub reported on the MÁV 142 blog.
Passengers in the abandoned wagons wasted at least an hour between two stations, while the first half of the train reached Ócsa and noticed the failure. The passengers trapped in the open road did not receive any information, after a while they opened the door with an emergency opener, some even went on foot to the station.
A passenger told RTL that when her husband went to the Ócsa station to see what had happened, “there was a lot of nervousness, rush, action, rush”, when they noticed that the train had left two units in the back.
The train finally returned from the station by the wagons that were left behind, according to MÁV, they were hanged due to a technical failure.
