Gergely Karácsony: Budapest is in an extremely difficult situation

• We will reduce the number of capital committees from eight to five.
• We reduce the cost of fractions.
• Two institutions in the capital, the Mozaik Hall and Market Directorate and the Budapest City Council, will be abolished, and other institutions will assume their functions. This reorganization will not affect workers, merchants or consumers.
• The merger of 5 companies from the capital, similar to the Stadtwerke model, which works well in Vienna and the main German cities, is a very significant transformation. Therefore, Főkert, the Budapest Funeral Institute, Fétkétüsz, FKF and Főtáv, and Budapest Városüzemeltetési Holding will now be merged into a joint utility company. “It is important to emphasize that these reorganizations do not affect professional workers. In turn, they do affect managerial and political positions,” writes Christmas.
• We will eliminate 21 positions on the supervisory board, fewer managerial positions, fewer service cars, more rational and efficient operation, that is the goal.
