The veto of the past, the prime minister has communicated to the EU leaders, says the minister.

The chances of the budget or rescue package taking effect in this way are nil.

says Goulash.

In its current form, we cannot respond to the abandonment of immigration policy, so there will be no budget or rescue fund. We support the protection of the financial interests of the EU, we support all the rules of corruption, the expectation of the use of money.

What we are not prepared to support is that political issues should not be decided in Brussels, but in Brussels.

We say that the EU has had clear rules for more than seven decades, we consider them adequate in the current situation, we do not believe that we need to change right now. We could even hand over the resources of the rescue package to the southern Member States tomorrow, but that will require an end to political pressure to change immigration policy.

We do not consider the Article 7 procedure against Hungary to be particularly serious, it does not bother us in particular, it does not hinder the agreement in any way.

– says the Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office.
