“STALL”: this is how you described your opinion Gundor Gábor Takács on József Szájer, after it was revealed that the resigned MEP had attended an organ in Brussels. In a recent article in Szemlélek, the sportscaster and reporter claimed that Szájer did not stumble, but failed.
Gundel said in an interview with Telex that his writing was not about that.
this man is who and what he did, but in his mind he even seems stupid. Because you dare to say it was a trip. Sorry, it wasn’t a trip, it was a fall. And as a Hungarian citizen, member of civil society, I wanted to point out that they would not make me look stupid.
Gundel didn’t feel harsh about his article, he just said “we’re not used to someone raising their hand and saying that I think they like to look stupid.”
In political affairs, by the way, he still does not want to express himself, he does not politicize in part and he cannot be on either side. The only problem, he says, is that today everyone thinks of politics as party politics, whereas politicization in the original sense of the word means taking care of public affairs, which would be everyone’s business.
Gundel also told Telex if, after Szájer’s article, he had been asked if he was afraid of not receiving more applications.
I’m not scared And I don’t even want to be invited by the person you depend on for an article like this
The presenter replied. Regarding the communication of the mouth issue, he also pointed out that he thought that churches would have to deal with such stories because they bring so many people together and it is authoritative for many how the church thinks about the world, what faith it gives them.
It was also said that the right had practically appropriated the definition of the Christian way of life.
Yes, some politicians prefer to use the adjective Christian. But what makes a Christian something? The churches would have to deal with this too. Because when I read an article on a right-wing portal about what Christians and liberals are, are you sure the two are mutually exclusive? – and includes the fact that “good fucking mothers”, then there is a problem. He who is truly Christian, and not only takes it as a kind of cloak, as a distinctive sign, does not speak it because he is quite hypocritical. And at least that’s when the churches should stand up and say I wish you a good day, it’s not Christianity.
– said Gábor Gundel Takács, who does not sympathize with the fact that Hungary is such a Christian country because he feels that they use and not only live religion.
