As a result of Brexit, the rules under which UK citizens can enter Hungary will change from January 2021, police said on their website Wednesday.
The communications service of the National Police Headquarters (ORFK) has published an information on police.hu in relation to the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union due to the change of entry conditions due to the change of status of British citizens.
It was written that under the UK Citizens and Family Members Right of Residence Act 2020 British citizens and their family members who arrived and stayed in Hungary for a longer period of time before December 31, 2020 can retain their acquired rights as a result of EU membership after January 1, 2021.
