Telekom customers entitled to free Internet can indicate their need for the free 30-day Internet service from November 18 to 27 on the Telekom website (www.telekom.hu) and Flip customers on the website of Flip (www.flip.hu).
To submit a request, a Telekom customer will need an account (MT customer ID and current account number at the top left of the account), a Flip customer will also need an account (customer ID and current account number at the top right of the account) and a so-called Educational ID showing your educational status.
The 30-day fee waiver will appear on customer invoices received in December. Customers using the bundled package can also use the 30-day free service, as the internet service with a 5 percent VAT content already appears as a separate item on the invoice.
Viktor Orbán announced on Saturday that the internet will be free for 30 days for families affected by digital education.
