Ferencváros eliminated 1-0 as a guest of Dinamo Kiev on Tuesday in the sixth and final match of Group G of the Champions League.

Fradi had more possession of the ball in the first half, but did not get into serious situations, only because of a bouncing ball, the Hungarian champion could feel that he had fallen from a penalty. Even after a half substitution, the FTC dominated, but after one point, Dinamo Kiev took the lead with Genyis Popov.

The Ukrainian team would safely have been a fool to attack, but Ferencváros would have needed at least two goals to finish third in the group and reach the Europa League in the spring. To that end, Serhiy Rebrov also sent Isael, Roko Baturina and Franck Bol onto the field in the second half, but they failed to make a substantial change to the FTC game.

Fradi fought with honor, possessed more ball and was also a starter, but could not break the defense of the Kiev team, for which he was knocked out 1-0. This marks the end of the FTC’s international presence this season.
