The Hungarian coach, who left for work on Monday, didn’t think much about who to pick with him. So on Friday, club officials introduced the 38-year-old team. Sergei Kuznetsov, whose father was also a member of the team in the Ferencváros Champions League at the time.
The young Kuznetsov started playing football in Ferencváros and even made his debut in the adult team, scoring four goals in nine games. Then life went far, he played in Ukraine and Russia as well, but headed to training relatively early. Two years ago, he was first assistant coach of Arsenal Tula, then followed his teacher to Spartak Moscow, where he was first also field coach, and after driving coach Oleg Kononov, he also led the team as a coach in some games. And now he has accepted a job in ancient Greek Panathinaikos.
