NB I
ROUND 15
Thick-FTC 1-3
(1–1)
Fat, Paksi FC Stadium, behind closed doors. Directed by: Berke B.
Gólszerző: Szabó J. (44.), resp. A. Frimpong (3rd), Haratin (50th to 11th), Isael (86th)

Adam Holczer defended bravely! The former Ferencváros goalkeeper made it into the Paks’ starting team, and not even five minutes passed into the game, when Franck Boli shot him with a spectacular play. Their joy could not be complete, because although we were at the beginning of the match, Ferencváros was already leading: after the first corner kick, Abraham Frimpong shot four or five Paks on the goal line or in the foreground, the ball somehow fell got into goal.

Unsurprisingly, the capitalists were highly motivated, racing towards the championship on Wednesday night with the intention of scoring three points. After Mol Fehérvár FC scored just one point Tuesday night (1–1 vs. Academia Puskás), the Greens entered the field knowing they could further increase their lead over their main rival with victory. The question was how many new players would the FTC, which has been playing in a forced race since the summer, stand out in this game. Tokmac Nguen, considered the best of the fall, was only placed on the bench this time, Dávid Sigér was not named in the box, and Abraham Frimpong was replaced at the beginning in place of Lasa Dvali (we have already described many times that Ferencváros has a box very big, two small championships). could also form a team).

In the case of the Hungarians, Norbert Szélpál led the defense, because Dániel Böde was injured a few days ago in Mezőkövesd, and there is still the question of when the former FTC forward will be able to return to the Paks defensive line, since he now plays in the team led by György Bognár. The visiting team was more dynamic and quicker in the first leg of the match, but there was no doubt that the home team, being quickly at a disadvantage, would have immediately worried about defeat. The meeting was characterized by several clashes and hand-to-hand duels, the first part was busy and fighting. István Bognár’s second shot was already perfect: the midfielder, who had previously appeared in Ferencváros, shot at the FTC goal with a great play, but unfortunately Máté Sajbán, who was on the prowl, was able to cover the view in front of Dénes Dibusz , so the referees invalidated the blow.

The host tried from the right, shot from the center, tried from the left, but at the end of the first half, Dénes Dibusz and the Ferencváros defense were able to hold out until a few seconds before the break. János Szabó tied, and as the Paks scored a lot for the goal, it wasn’t a coincidence at all. On the other hand, István Bognár made another dangerous shot before the teams entered the dressing room. Based on the offensive play of the two teams, the tie was realistic at 45 minutes.

The momentum did not diminish even after the break, and even both teams mobilized tremendous energy to score a second goal. The champion again took the lead, albeit under strange circumstances: Robert Mak made a good start, Ádám Holczer hit the ball in front of him. However, referee Balázs Berke awarded a penalty, Ihor Haratin and calmly changed the penalty to goal.

The verdict heated up the spirits, both benches were activated and the players did not forgive each other, and he also slipped some dirty crashes. Luckily, in a few minutes the players wanted to play football again, and we could only be happy about that, because that way we could see one of the best matches of the season. Dénes Dibusz also had to defend bravely several times to maintain the FTC lead.

Although Paks worked particularly well, Isael his shot finally decided the match. Aissa Laidouni, who was attacking more and more in attack and therefore with more wind on the defensive, could have decided the game earlier, but the post helped the Paks, who were no longer lucky with Isael’s rebound.

The FTC won, further increasing their lead over the big rivals at White Castle, but Paks deserves praise for his performance on Wednesday night, this production would have been enough to win against many teams.

It was a good match!
