The working day will be rearranged only once, on Christmas Eve.

In 2021, we will have a total of six long weekends of three days and one of four days. May 1, October 23, December 25, and December 26 are also weekends.

The good news is that January 1 will be a Friday, which means that we will start the year immediately with a long weekend. The four-day weekend will only be for Easter (Good Friday to Easter Monday).

Details according to the relevant regulations:

  • Friday, January 1: New Year’s Day, free day (3-day weekend);
  • Monday March 15: national holiday, rest day (3-day weekend);
  • Friday April 2 – Good Friday, day off;
  • Monday April 5 – Easter, rest day (4-day weekend);
  • Saturday May 1 – Labor Day, weekend;
  • Monday May 24 – Pentecost, day of rest (3-day weekend);
  • Friday August 20: State Party, Rest Day (3-day weekend);
  • Saturday October 23 – Feast of the Revolution of 56, weekend;
  • Monday, November 1 – All Saints, Rest Day (3-day weekend);
  • Saturday, December 11 – relocated workday;
  • Friday, December 24 – Christmas Eve, Rest Day;
  • Saturday December 25 – Christmas, weekend;
  • Sunday December 26 – Christmas, weekend (3-day weekend).
