BKK believes that the most critical situation is expected to be in Váci út, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út and kiskörút; however, due to restrictions, changes in traffic patterns on many busy routes and designated bus lanes for a total of 13 km of road sections, road congestion is anticipated. they will also affect traffic throughout the capital and the suburbs.

According to BKK, the restrictions caused by the substitution of the metro itself cause great difficulties for everyone traveling in Budapest. They added that the efficiency of designated bus lanes for the smooth running of metro replacement buses and the already reduced capacity of the roads could be severely affected by motorists looking for a place to park, but also by vehicles traveling. irregularly in the lane for buses to satisfy congestion.
