Testing for the coronavir virus over the weekend revealed that five more people in Tótkomlós, with a population of just 5,000, had contracted the disease, it said on its Facebook page. Zoltán Zsura mayor.
The mayor announced that the local government of Tótkomlós had been notified of the unpleasant development by the Békés County Government Office. Subsequently, it was agreed with the head of the territorially competent Public Health Service that on Monday a teaching break would be ordered at the local Jankó János Primary and Secondary School and the Bilingual Primary School next Monday, in addition to the closed kindergarten.
Starting Tuesday, online education will begin in two primary schools and one primary school in Tótkomlós. The reason for the measure is that educators have been placed under epidemiological supervision, so there is no one to directly teach and supervise the children.
The jury told the Hungarian Orange that according to the situation on Sunday afternoon, there are six people infected with the corona virus in Tótkomlós. A few days ago, only four educational institutions across the country were closed due to coronavirus, now only three in Tótkomlós.
