On the first day of Christmas, a van was walking along the sidewalk with three passersby in Baia Mare. Two young men died immediately at the scene, the third was taken to hospital with serious injuries. As it turned out, cocaine was found on the body of the driver of the truck that caused the accident, Maszol wrote.

On the Transylvanian news portal, it was reported that a pickup truck was hit by a pickup truck in the center of Baia Mare on Friday afternoon. Two, a 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, died instantly and a third person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The fatal accident story is that the van was traveling at a speed of 100 km / h and collided head-on with a taxi at an intersection. The force of the collision threw both cars to the curb and the truck dragged three bystanders, two of whom were killed instantly.

The driver who caused the accident underwent a medical examination, which revealed that he was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the accident.

The driver was detained by the Romanian police for 24 hours and subjected to official procedures to be detained for 30 days.
