Donald trumpot was nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize just weeks after he helped bring peace to Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Fox News writes.
The brand Christian Tybring-Gjedde presented by a member of the Norwegian Parliament, according to the newspaper.
I think he did more for peace between states than any other candidate. Several countries in the Middle East are expected to follow in the footsteps of the United Arab Emirates and this agreement could turn the region into a region of cooperation and development.
He told the newspaper.
He also argues in the nomination that the president of the United States is helping to resolve conflicts. He cited as an example the settlement of the Kashmir border dispute between India and Pakistan and the suppression of the conflict between North Korea and South Korea.
Tybring-Gjedde also praised Trump for withdrawing troops from the Middle East, making him after nearly 40 years the first US president not to lead his country into an international war.
Trump was also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018, when Tybring-Gjedde also did the same with another Norwegian official. Two years ago, Kim’s summit with Jongun was the talk. Along with them, the Japanese prime minister also nominated him, but in the end he did not win.
Tybring-Gjedde, however, said he was not a Trump fan.
The committee must examine the facts and make a decision based on the facts, not your behavior. The Nobel Peace Prize winners of recent years have done far less than Donald Trump for peace. Barack Obama, for example, does nothing
He said.
