Shortly after they were added to an auto parts store’s website, details of the adjustment effective as of Monday also appeared in the Hungarian Gazette. (Despite the similarities, the enacted regulation does not exactly match the leaked).

The regulation stipulates that from now on a mask must be worn everywhere within a residential area. Until now, this has only been mandatory in cities with more than 10,000 inhabitants, and the municipality has been able to decide in which public areas to do it. As of now, the mask is necessary everywhere, only children under the age of six, people with intellectual or psychosocial disabilities or people with autism spectrum disorders are exempt.

Leisure activities can be done with people who live in the same home as us, or alone, but one and a half meters from others. You do not need to wear a mask during individual sports activities. Arboretums, forests, parks remain open.

You can stay open from stores:

  • the grocery store,
  • the pharmacy
  • businesses that sell essential materials and equipment for the performance of jobs, professional duties, economic, agricultural and forestry activities, in particular businesses that sell vehicles, machinery, spare parts and construction materials, but excluding businesses that sell entertainment and furnishings domestic as main activity.
  • The pet food and feed store, slaughterhouse,
  • gardening supplies, nursery,
  • The market,
  • the pharmacy
  • the gas station,
  • the tobacco shop
  • and the newspaper.

Florists can stay open on Mondays, Women’s Day, after which they must close.

Restaurants can work like they used to, just because you can stay inside and deliver takeout.

The police keep shops closed with the help of the Armed Forces, can impose fines of between 100,000 and 1 million guilders for breaking the rules, and can close the premises for at least one day and no more than one year.

Anyone who violates the rules of mask use can expect a fine of between 5,000 and 500,000 guilders.

There are many exceptions for services, which can continue to operate under regulation:

  • banks,
  • transportation and transportation services,
  • private health services, including the manufacture of glasses,
  • social service,
  • post office, parcel delivery,
  • toto, lottery,
  • Car service,
  • IT service,
  • funeral,
  • veterinarian,
  • food processing,
  • catering,
  • animal husbandry,
  • juridical services
  • security Service,
  • building management and office services,
  • car rental,
  • washing, cleaning.

Everything else has to be closed, however it is much more of an exception than expected as Gergely Gulyás on Thursday, it only mentioned private healthcare as an exception, followed by a statement from the government to banks.

The stores will be closed until March 22 and the casinos until April 7.

Gyms will only be open to competitive athletes.

Elementary schools are transitioning to digital education. There will be a hiatus in the kindergartens and as a result there will also be no babysitting in the kindergartens and elementary schools for those who cannot stay home with their child. However, meals are provided at home or to go.

The Director will decide on the closure of schools. The nurseries will remain open.

Starting Monday, everyone in the administration will work from home, with their own means, unless someone can only work at their workplace, especially if they are involved in fighting the epidemic.

The curfew between 8:00 p.m. M. And 5:00 a. M. Still valid.
