The Great Count

On Saturday morning, the funeral of the father of the gypsy musician László Kozák, also known as Grófo and Grófo Nagy, was held in front of a crowd of ten at Szolnok’s Kőrösi út cemetery, according to the report from szoljon.hu. The 49-year-old artist died of complications from a coronavirus infection on December 3. He used to be hooked up to a ventilator, but after that he got better, the family was already preparing to go home when he got sick again. The infection was also contracted by her son, Little Count, who was also hospitalized, but with mild symptoms escaped the disease.

The coffin, placed in a white carriage, was pulled by four white horses at Szolnok, and a red carpet was laid on its route. The funeral was preceded by a dawn vigil. A stage was built in the cemetery, with a large projector on top that shows photographs of the Count’s life. A separate tent was erected for the wreaths and a long table for the burial tower.

Although according to epidemiological regulations, a maximum of 50 people can attend funerals, according to reports, many more people attended László Kozák’s utoilsó trip.
