Data has been published for more than 533 million Facebook users from 106 countries, with users including more than 32 million Americans, 11 million British, and 6 million Indians.
The data includes phone number, Facebook ID, full name, place of residence, date of birth, business card and, in some cases, email address.
The Business Insider journalists compared the data published on the network with the data of some of their acquaintances, from which they verified its authenticity.
Stolen data can be valuable to cybercriminals, among others.
