On Friday, an agreement was reached on the composition of the new Romanian government, in which a deputy prime minister and three ministers are also included in the Hungarian Democratic Alliance in Romania, writes Transindex.ro.
In the government led by Florin Cîţu, the DAHR received the Ministries of Development and Administration, Environment, and Youth and Sports. Transindex writes that the Hungarian party would appoint Attila Cseke to head the Development Ministry and Barna Tánczos to head the Environment Ministry. Party chairman Kelemen Hunor said: “By Friday night, we agreed on the composition of the center-right government. It is in the country’s interest to have a stable government and parliament, and that interests us. After eight unpredictable years , It’s time to build! ”
The ruling coalition will consist of the USR-PLUS and DAHR, which will merge with the National Liberal Party (PNL), the Save Romania Association (USR) and the Freedom Unity and Solidarity Party (PLUS). The PNL will give the prime minister, and the party will also have 9 ministers and the USR-PLUS will have 6 ministers in the government. The Senate will be chaired by the PNL and the House of Representatives will come from the USR-PLUS party.
