We also know from Lieutenant Colonel Róbert Kiss that in the last 24 hours the police have acted against 235 people for ignoring the obligation to wear a mask, which has increased the total number of police actions to 8,994 since September 21. In 186 of the 235 cases, measures were taken in settlements with more than 10,000 inhabitants because the norms for the use of masks provided for in the municipal decree in the designated public places were not met. Thirty people were warned, eighty-six were fined on the spot, and seventy were reported in violation.

The official information portal koronavirus.gov.hu ​​summarized the police measures as follows:

Violation of restrictions in shops, restaurants, accommodation and leisure facilities has so far required 486 police actions, of which 126 were the responsibility of the operator or owner, and another 360 inspections concerned violations of the rules of opening and no entry restricted. .

In one of the department stores of the Tatabánya building, neither employee nor owner wore the mask, the latter told the police that he had never used the protective equipment before and that he would not do it afterwards. The police closed the store for ten days.
