American actor Brian Dennehy, who played memorable character roles in several well-known movies, including Rambo, died on Wednesday at the age of eighty-one, especially in the 1980s and 1990s.

The Golden Globe and two-time Tony Award-winning artist began their filmmaking career in 1977, first appearing in various television series such as Kojak, but also appearing in Dallas. The breakthrough came in the action movie Rambo – First Blood in 1982, where he played local small town sheriff Will Teasle, who conflicts with Rambo, played by Sylvester Stallone. His career began after a series of memorable roles in a variety of genres, including the thriller Gorky Park (1983), the Silk movie Cocoon Sci-Fi (1985), the Silverado western (1985), and the difficult adventure film of death.
