He was very outraged by his former co-author Levente Szörényi, this time for his support of the actors. The musician compares the SZFE case to a taxi blockade.

There is growing resistance from students and professors to the erosion of the autonomy of the University of Theater and Film Arts (SZFE) due to the government’s decision to continue the university as a foundation under Attila Vidnyánszky. More and more world-famous artists are joining the solidarity movement around SZFE, but the Vidnyánszky family is not expanding. You can follow the latest developments in the SZFE scandal in our article series.

It has been a problem for generations that SZFE has dumped not only great actors, but also medium talents, Levente Szörényi said in an interview with Mandiner. That’s why the pride that warms the protesters is even more irritating: “If control is not in their hands, they need to be able to do everything.

By the way, the composer simply compares the scandal surrounding the SZFE to “the SZDSZ taxi blockade in 1990” and is ashamed that János Bródy also joined the line when he wrote a parade start for the students of the barricade. “I can’t defend Bródy’s actionism, which he can’t give up even at seventy-four years old,” says Szörényi, and even thinks his fellow musician “launched himself” to unprecedented depths.

With his motto written for students protesting in the spirit of “free country, free university,” he embarrassed himself and much of his joint work, including Esteban, the king, he believes.

Szörényi also shared his views on world politics, which is why the US presidential election was also discussed. The musician finds it surprising that he forces America to kneel, because he believes that this is happening before our eyes.

“It started with the Kennedy assassination because he was trying to get into deeper things. Trump, who has been in the head of the world media for four years, no longer needs to be shot, they are toppling him with voting tricks, “he said.

He added that Bolshevism in Eastern Europe has moved its headquarters to the West, and in the United States it already seems to be winning, while at home those who want to clean up Orban at all costs cry out to the SZDSZ for Western “help.”
