The meeting was attended by defense leaders from all Hungarian counties; the prime minister briefed them on Tuesday on government decisions that introduced further tougher defense against the epidemic, the spokesman said.

He added that Viktor Orbán had drawn the attention of government officials to the fact that difficult months were ahead and that the measures being taken now must be implemented as strictly as possible in all counties and that restrictions must be respected in a manner constant.

The government will introduce an extraordinary legal order starting at midnight today, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced. At events, sporting events, cinemas, theaters, you can only sit in one out of every 3 chairs. A mask must be worn at all events without exception, this will be verified by the authorities. Clubs will be closed in Hungary and there will be a curfew between midnight and 5am. Parking is free again and the government has announced traffic at morning rush hour.
