The number of new coronavirus infections per day in the Western Balkan countries is highly fluctuating, with only a few dozen new infections occurring one day, and the next day the number of new ones identified may rise to more than 100.
In recent days, the figures in the Western Balkans have shown huge fluctuations. For the aggregation of Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, there was a day when only 342 infected people were identified in the five countries, but also when there were 994.
In the Western Balkans, with the exception of Croatia, the number of confirmed infections and the number of fatalities increased by 910 from Saturday to Sunday.
Until Sunday, the number of registered infections increased from 107 in Serbia to 33,842, in Kosovo from 53 to 15,758, in North Macedonia from 243 to 18,615, in Montenegro from 244 to 11,361, in Bosnia and Herzegovina and increased by 263 to 28,234.
In Serbia, the number of deaths has increased from two to 753 in the last 24 hours, from three to 630 in Kosovo, from four to 753 in North Macedonia, from six to 883 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and from two to 174 in Montenegro.
