The government also changed the expiration date of the medical certificate for rail passengers and the deadline for additional examiner training due to the risk of a virus.

The government decree published in the Hungarian Gazette extended the validity of railway physical fitness certificates and decisions that expire during the virus emergency period, for a period of 6 months from their expiration. However, this does not apply to medical certificates and decisions issued for a limited period of time.

The highway driver examiner, technical examiner, highway driver instructor, school principal, tachograph inspector and tachograph mechanic must fulfill their obligation to pass the in-service training and pass the exam provided in 2020 within 60 days of the end of the emergency. In the event of non-compliance or non-compliance with the obligation, the activity related to carrying out continuous training may not be resumed after this date.

The market surveillance fee for road passenger bus transport activities and traffic management activities will not be paid this year. The market surveillance fee already paid this year will be included in the market surveillance fee to be paid in 2021.
