Trials are currently underway in the final part of a three-phase clinical trial in which the vaccine was administered to thousands of people to test its efficacy and safe use. Johnson and Johnson said last month that it intends to involve 60,000 people on three continents in the third phase of the experiments.
However, a report said Monday that diseases, even serious ones, usually occur during a clinical trial and are expected to show up in large numbers in larger trials.
