According to the results of a representative survey of 1231 people commissioned by Euronews in Hungary:

  • only 17 percent of those surveyed would get the vaccine if the vaccine were available.
  • 47% clearly rejected the possibility of vaccination.
  • And 36 percent have yet to be decided.

The research also revealed which vaccine Hungarians would prefer:

  • most respondents would choose a vaccine made in Hungary,
  • a little less would ask for a vaccine developed in the US,
  • On the other hand, the Russian-made vaccine ordered by the Hungarian government is clearly rejected, only 7% of respondents would be vaccinated with it,
  • and even less, only 4 percent would ask for a Chinese vaccine.
