The new case below 5,000 is not a record, but the graph below also shows that the breakout observed in the last few days in the uptrend was presumably a one-time effect, until the restrictions are reached, we have to count around 5,000 cases.

The 107 deaths are the highest yet, there have been more deaths in a single day, with the same number of deaths only on November 7. Unfortunately, it would not be surprising to see further growth until the restrictions are enforced.

We are seeing a big jump in the number of patients in the hospital again, 340 more people were hospitalized in one day, currently 7029 people are treated in hospitals in Hungary due to the coronavirus. There are 531 in a fan, we can also see an increase here. Hopefully, between 1 and 2 weeks after the introduction of the restrictions, the number of hospital patients will also decrease, reducing the pressure on the care system.

We still do not see a decrease in the officially reported number of active people, but the slope of the curve showing the last two active infected people has decreased somewhat.

In the last 24 hours, a little over 19,000 tests have been done and the proportion of positive tests has also increased significantly from the day before, most recently above 25%, meaning that one in four people tested is coronavirus. .

In one day, 954 new cases were registered in Budapest and 570 in Pest county. With 439 cases, 333 new cases were found in Bács-Kiskun, the third most infected county in Győr-Moson-Sopron. There were 287 new cases in Vas county, 273 in Nógrád. There were only 23 new cases in Szabolcs-Szatmár county, only 57 in Zala.

Last week there were 7,661 new cases in Budapest, followed by 5,144 new infections in Pest County. There were 3,913 new infections in Győr-Moson-Sopron, fewer than 2,000 in the other counties last week, and fewer than 1,000 in Tolna, Zala and Szabolcs.
